# Nudges

### 1. **Where You See Nudges**

{% tabs %}
{% tab title="1.1 In the Chrome Extension " %}
When you're using the MAGgie Chrome Extension, you see all the different module icons on the right-hand side. Nudges appear when you click the Genie icon, located just above the MAGCRM Data tab.

{% tab title="1.2 In the Web App" %}
Inside the main MAGgieTM web app, Nudges appear when you click the **jumping MAGgie****TM**** icon on the top right corner** of your homepage. Here, they act as a glance indicator - showing you personalized recommendations the moment you log in, without waiting for a workflow trigger.

### 3. How Nudges Work

#### **3.1 Why You Receive a Nudge**

Nudges are personalized to you. We focus on your sales, training, and marketing data to identify your strengths compared to users like you, as well as more advanced users, to show you where they have found success. We don’t funnel every user down the same path; we focus on “users just like you.”

#### 3.2 What “Users Like You” Means

We examine factors such as your industry, geolocation, and the time of year your business focuses on, and identify where more advanced users have achieved success. So, if you make your money in cruises, hotels, resorts, or any hybrid in between, as well as if you make all of your money before the holidays or year-round. We aren’t funneling every user down the same path; we recognize that not everyone is the same, so we focus on paths to success that relate to you, based on the success of other salesmen.

#### 3.3 Why Certain Courses Are Recommended

For a course to be recommended, we focus on two things:

1. How many users have gotten sales growth after completing it
2. How many users in the same industry have taken the same courses as you have?

This isn’t just growth from new users, but also growth from established salesmen who, after completing this course, have seen a significant difference in their sales the following month compared to the month prior.

Doing this allows us to find courses that users like you have taken, as well as ones that have the fastest and most dramatic turnaround to help you get back out there. It’s up to you whether to take these courses, but if we recommend them, it is because both the average user and users like you have achieved sales growth after taking this course.

### 4. Understanding Your Group

All Nudges you receive are personalized based on the group you belong to - whether you’re a **Newbie**, **Intermediate**, **Advanced**, or **Master**. MAGgieTM uses your activity to understand which stage you’re currently in and tailors the Nudges accordingly, so the guidance you see always matches your level and goals.

You’ll also see this same group reflected on your [**Performance Analytics Dashboard**](https://app.mymaggie.ai/analytics), where you can compare your progress with others in your group. This means your groups, Nudges, and analytics all work together.

#### 4.1 How MAGgieTM Determines Your Group

Grouping is done by what you have done so far on our platform. It’s a combination of:

* **Sales activity** – size and frequency of your bookings
* **Training usage** – how many courses you’ve completed and how recently
* **Marketing usage** – how actively you use MAGgie’s marketing tools
* **Recency** – older actions lose weight after 6 months and again after 1 year

Because activity naturally “ages,” you may move down a group over time; this is normal. You can always move back up by returning to the actions that previously helped you grow.

#### 4.2 Group Types

{% tabs %}
{% tab title="Newbie" %}
Users in this group are typically new and have completed the initial onboarding.\
The fastest way to move beyond the Newbie level is to take **training courses**. Even without sales, completing a handful of courses can move you up because training strongly correlates with generating larger sales within 30 days.

> **Small early sales + a few courses = quickest path to the next group.**
> {% endtab %}

{% tab title="Intermediate" %}
These users have already demonstrated their ability to secure sales or have become top performers in our learning modules.\
To move up from Intermediate, the focus shifts to **closing larger sales**. Consistent performance and stronger deal sizes help elevate you to the next tier.
{% endtab %}

{% tab title="Advanced" %}
Users in this group have consistently demonstrated the ability to land **large sales**. They understand the process, use their skills confidently, and are working toward bigger goals.\
To progress further, MAGgieTM recommends engaging with the **Marketing Platform**, as this is typically the next major driver of sustained growth.
{% endtab %}

{% tab title="Master" %}
Master-level users utilize **all major tools** offered by MAGgie and consistently land sales that are well above the average. To remain in this group, we encourage the continued use of both marketing tools and ongoing training.

> Masters are role-model users, MAGgieTM often uses their patterns as examples for other groups.
